Background
Alla Granovsky is a certified public accountant and a graduate of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. She began preparing taxes and managing accounting for companies and individuals in 1988, and early in her career worked at some of the world's largest accounting firms.
Today she leads Granovsky CPA P.C. in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, the firm that bears her name, bringing that big-firm training to individuals, families and small businesses. Prep Your Taxes is a service of the firm.
What she does
Alla and her team prepare personal and business tax returns, provide year-round tax planning, keep books for small businesses, set up and clean up QuickBooks files, help new owners form their businesses, and represent clients who receive IRS notices or audits. The firm has worked with more than 500 clients and handled more than 100 IRS audits.
How she works with clients
Alla's approach is simple: get the details right, explain the results in plain language, and be available when clients have questions, not just in April. Clients can work with the office in person or remotely from other states and other countries.
She also understands that a privately owned business has different needs from a large corporation, and spends time helping owners organize their companies and put sensible accounting systems in place.
