Why the books matter
A business return is only as good as the numbers behind it. Because we also do monthly bookkeeping and QuickBooks support, we can spot problems in your records before they turn into problems on your return: personal expenses mixed in, missing depreciation, loans recorded as income, or payroll that doesn't match.
If your books are behind, that's fine. Tell us where things stand and we'll get them caught up before we prepare the return.
Beyond the annual return
Most business owners also need help during the year: quarterly estimated taxes, deciding whether an S corporation election makes sense, reasonable salary questions for owners, and planning for a large purchase or a sale. We'd rather talk about these in advance than after the year has closed. See tax planning.
Starting a new business?
We help new owners choose a structure and set up their records correctly from the beginning. See business incorporation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with businesses outside Pennsylvania?
Yes. We work with small businesses across the United States, and with owners who live abroad, using phone, email and our secure client portal.
My bookkeeping is behind. Can you still do my business return?
Yes. We'll catch up the books first so the return is based on accurate numbers, then prepare and file it.
Should my LLC be taxed as an S corporation?
It depends on your profit, how much you pay yourself and your state's rules. We'll run the numbers with you before you make the election.
